The Bison Bone Broth is delightfully similar to the beef but just a little more mild.

We use pasture raised, grass-fed and finished bison knuckles and leg bones from local farmers that do not use antibiotics or hormones and simmer them for as long as 72 hours with carrots, onions, and raw cider vinegar to flavor the mineral richness that slowly steeps into this rich gelatinous bone broth. It works great as a base for soups, sauces, grains, beans or add some kraut and a bit of miso for a delicious and easy lunch. A warm cup in the morning is a simple and nourishing tonic to begin the day. This is the flavor of love!

These broths also contains minerals in a form the body can absorb easily – not just calcium but also magnesium, phosphorus, silicon, sulphur and trace minerals. It also contains the broken down material from cartilage and tendons – stuff like chondroitin sulphates and glucosamine, which are now sold as expensive supplements for arthritis and joint pain.
